(Rare) Voice Stream Riddim Mix (Mixed by Dj Nic Nice)

If you havent heard this riddim before, you are in the majority. This is a rare riddim that has a tune on it with Vybz Kartel and Angel called "Love Me". The other tunes on this riddim are decent. Check it...

Busta Rhymes Riddim Mix (Put your hands where my eyes can see) - Exclusive

This is a riddim that samples the beat from Busta Rhymes' "Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See". The first couple songs use the actual beat, but the others put a nice dancehall spin to it (ex: Beenie Man - My Prerogative. One of my favorite riddims!

Rare...Wake Up Riddim Mix

This is a hype riddim that never really got popular. It is very upbeat and the songs are great. There are some hilarious, but explicit tunes on here, including the first tune on the mix (Innocent Crew - Wake Up). I am assuming that most of you have never heard this riddim before...

Mr. Vegas - Keep Your Friendship

Since we are talking about friendship, this post is appropriate. I haven't heard much from Vegas recently, but this tune is a solid tune. This tune is off the Unstoppable Riddim.

Merital - Dem Bawl

This is the cut, of the Boxing Day Riddim, from the up and coming Merital Family, following their hit single "My Money (Ha Ha)". This song is alot less pop, and alot more thuggy, but is a good tune. I don't think it will be as popular as My Money, but give it a listen.

Vybz Kartel ft. Sheba - Do Me Dat

This song is getting really popular. Vybz and Sheba (off the the England Town Riddim) goes back and forth about how she is going do everything to him that he has done to her (cheating, etc.). Its a clever song. DJs, those who know the song, love it, so just make sure you know your audience.

Bookshelf Riddim Mix - Exclusive

One of the most popular riddims in recent dancehall history. Most well known songs are Beenie Man - Bookshelf and Sean Paul - Deport Them. One of the many reasons why Konshens made the song in the previous post DJs, a must have.

Rare... A.R.P. - Thats The Way I Like It

I really like this riddim and this tune. It's called the Dejavu Riddim. It never seemed to gain popularity, but I always really liked it. There are a couple other good tunes on the riddim, like "Mirror on the wall" and "Bonafied". Take a listen, what do you think?

Busy Signal - Mi Love Money

What would you do for money? Off the Stainless Riddim,   (June 2009) this tune a bit dated by now, but is still a hype tune with a decent message. DJs, this is a hot or miss at parties, might be a good warmup tune.

THROWBACK!!! Lady Saw - Sycamore Tree

Apparently this site has little to no female presence, so this is my answer. Off the Joyride Riddim, this tune, along with "Tanya Stephens - Yuh nuh Ready Fe Dis Yet" always made all the ladies go mad. DJs, if you play these tunes, you will be rebooked, no questions.

Laden - She Like It

This is one of my favorite tunes of the week. I know a week is a short time, but still, this tune is nice. I am beginning to be really impressed with Stephen "Di Genius" Mcgregor, who produced this track and the last two tracks I have posted. Anyway, take a listen, and tell me what you think in the comment section.

Mavado ft. Genius - Can't Tek We Life

This is a great song. Not a typical dancehall tune, smoother and slower. In fact, its a bit inspirational from Mavado, but still hype. Great listen, but use with caution. Probably a good warmup tune, or if you are playing a culture set.

Mavado ft. Genius - Can't Tek We Life

Smooth Tune!!! Vybz Kartel - Completely

I really like this song. It has a smooth feel to it while still getting the lyrical versatility from the "Gaza Thug". Though its not necessarily a club hit, it is still a great listen. Ofcourse, in typical Kartel fashion, there is a very raw version named "Come Breed Me", but I prefer the radio version.

Big Tune!!! Serani - When It's Cold

Everyone know that Serani is dunnin de place right now. This song is on the School Bell Riddim, which is a Throwback/Pay Homage riddim. Another great tune on this riddim is the Gaza remake of the classic "Ting-a-Ling". These songs are a must for DJs. Tuff Tune, Tuff Riddim! Great chance for DJs to mash up the old and new.

Serani - When It's Cold

Vybz Kartel - Gaza Ting a Ling

Aidonia - Mood For Love

This is a rare new tune that doesn't really belong to any riddim, but is still a really good song. DJs, I wouldn't recommend playing this in the middle of a session, but it could be a good warmup tune, and might catch on in the upcoming weeks.

Aidonia - Mood For Love

Mavado - House Cleaning

Incase you didn't know: "It's against de law fe wash Panty!!!" Yes, this is one of the badman anthems of dancehall right now. If you are a DJ, you are required to have this tune. Full stop! This is on the Set Me Free Riddim, which is hype also...

Mavado - House Cleaning

Aidonia - Oh Oh Oh

Off the Fitness Riddim, this tune is a hit. The raw version is that exactly, RAW, but the clean version can rock a club too. The overall riddim has some other nice tunes.

Aidonia - Oh Oh Oh

RIDDIM: Trippple Bounce Riddim

This entire riddim is really good and very popular. It is upbeat and will work well into any party, or just to listen to on your own. Almost all the songs are hits, especially Vybz Kartel - Bicycle and Tony Matterhorn - Role Out.

Big Tune!! Merital - My Money (Ha Ha)

This song is on replay for me right now. It is one of the biggest tunes out. It is on the Go Go Club Riddim. Sometimes simple = genius, and this is an example of that. A must have for any DJ right now.

Merital - My Money

MIX CD - Selecta Renegade - Flames 6

The Flames series have been one the most consistently hype CD collection in dancehall music (Flames 4 being my favorite). Selecta Renegade is a master of remixing tunes (hip hop and reggae), while not overloading the CD with mixes. He is also one of the few who has appropriate culture tunes on his CDs. This iteration of "Flames" does not dissappoint. Another plus is that it is a radio edit, but you would never realize it because it is mixed so well. I rate it 9.5 out of 10.
